Determined not to die for having killed a security guard, Muhammad decided that he would "go out" by killing "as many white males as possible" using a.357 Magnum revolver he called "the Black Python", Dyer said he told investigators.

One victim, a 34-year-old father of two preschoolers, was on the job when he was shot Tuesday in the passenger seat of a Pacific Gas & Electric utility truck.

Gassett was carrying a grocery bag of food he had just picked up from the charity when he encountered the gunman.

Reloading as he went, Muhammad walked toward a bus stop near Catholic Charities, where three men saw him and began to run away. All three are now dead.

"I unfriended him about two years ago on Facebook", Jojo Romelo, who met Muhammad in 2014 at a nonprofit public access TV studio in downtown, told NBC station KSEE.

Mark Gassett had just picked up groceries at a Catholic Charities building when he was gunned down.

David Jackson, 58, of Fresno, was gunned down in the parking lot of the charity's building.

After Kori Ali Muhammad learned that he was wanted in the death of a security guard last week, he made a decision to take out as many other white men as possible before he was caught, Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said.

Dyer confirmed that Muhammad yelled "Allahu Akbar" ("God is great" in Arabic) as he was being loaded into a police auto Tuesday, but he said the suspect told investigators that he hadn't attended a mosque in at least 25 years and was a practitioner of voodoo who prays to seven gods, primarily Aguna.

Two Latina women and a child also crossed paths with Muhammad, who pointed the gun at them as they sat in their auto trying to flee, but he did not shoot. The gunman reportedly pointed the gun at them as they sat in their vehicle trying to escape, but he did not shoot.

- Muhammad ran south on Fulton to Divisadero, saw a police auto, dropped two objects, did not continue to flee and was arrested by the officer. From there, Dyer said, he watched police investigate his crime scene.

Chief Dyer says surveillance video shows Williams' murder and the attempted shooting of a second security guard.

Reid back but Carroll out as West Ham prepare for Everton visit
In fact, Everton are unbeaten in their last ten games in all competitions to West Ham. "They don't know how to manage a game". Randolph has made 22 Premier League appearances this season, having dislodged Adrian from the No. 1 slot in November.

Muhammad is black, and all of Tuesday's victims were white.

In less than a minute, 16 shots were fired, authorities say.

The men were at the wrong place at the wrong time Tuesday. - Muhammad then walked south on Van Ness and then west on Mildreda, saw a white male walking out of his shot twice at him, the man fell to the ground. He told his family there was a war going on between blacks and whites in America.

Here's how police say a fatal argument at a motel led to the deaths of three more men, allegedly victims of hate crimes.

"Kori Muhammad is not a terrorist, but he is a racist, and he's filled with hate", Dyer said.

On Tuesday, police said, he acted on that hatred.

When Muhammad later saw a police vehicle, he surrendered.

Muhammad has a criminal history that includes arrests on weapons, drugs and false imprisonment charges and making terrorist threats.

After spending the night on top of the 7-Eleven, Muhammad waited to make sure officers left the area and then climbed down Friday morning, the police chief said.

He claimed insanity after being charged with possessing cocaine with intent to distribute in 2005, and his attorney requested a psychiatric examination, saying Muhammad "appeared eccentric with some freaky beliefs". His attorney said that Muhammad had "paranoia" and thought the justice system and his defense attorney were conspiring against him, court papers said.

On Tuesday, after he learned he was wanted for the guard's death, he set out to kill more people, Dyer said.

The attorney who represented Muhammad in that case did not return a call for comment Tuesday.
