McDonald's Corporation (NYSE:MCD) is expanding delivery as it seeks new ways to keep Millennials who will pay up for convenience.

McDonald's and UberEATS began testing McDelivery in early 2017 in more than 200 restaurants throughout Florida.

"We are thrilled to expand our partnership with McDonald's in the U.S.to bring the ease and reliability of Uber's technology to deliver customers' favorite menu items", Jason Droege, head of UberEverything, said in a statement.

Fast-food competitor Wendy's announced similar delivery methods across the Columbus area.

McDonald's announced "McDelivery" is now available from more than 1,000 US locations. McDonald's and UberEATS said that customers can place McDonald's orders either on the UberEATS mobile app, or through UberEATS.com, using their existing Uber account. And what's more convenient than having a Big Mac and fries show up at your door? "People in Southern California search for McDonald's in the UberEATS app nearly daily, so we're excited to expand our reach and deliver what they've been craving". The company has already established delivery services in Asia and the Middle East.

Karavites said he's also expecting higher sales at restaurants that offer delivery. UberEats' delivery charge is $5, more than almost all of the chain's menu items. Here are the biggest fast food companies, delivering via drones, robots and chatbots, leading the charge.

Soon, thousands of customers in seven cities around the US won't have to get off the couch to grab a bag of McDonald's (though one might need to get off the couch to answer the door).
