Apple Just Showed Off A Monstrous Pro iMac

They are Intel's 7th gen chipset, and this means that the entire line of MacBook Pro products has received a substantial boost in processing power.

No matter; for this particular iMac, the magic is in just what Apple's engineers have managed to squeeze in.

Radeon Pro 500 cards are available in the updated Apple iMac devices and feature support for 4K and 5K displays.

Apple iMac has been launched with a 21.5-inch display and a 21.5-inch iMac Retina 4K display and a 27-inch iMac Retina 4K display.

Among the new features of iOS 11 is the ability to make person-to-person payments through Apple's messaging app, thanks to new integration with the Apple Pay system.

At today's WWDC event in San Jose, California, Apple announced incremental updates to its iMac and MacBook Pro lineup.

The 15 inch version includes up to 3.1 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.1 GHz and also comes with improved graphics.

Keep in mind that this isn't the Radeon Pro Vega graphics found in the iMac Pro 2017 - that one is more powerful and based on the Vega GPU architecture.

One piece of bad news for the people that have been waiting for this for years is that you'll have to wait a little bit more. In other words, while the size and resolution of the screen hasn't changed compared with the current iMac, the Pro offers outstanding visuals boasting true realism. The basic MacBook is also in line for a faster SSD, Apple says, while the long-neglected MacBook Air will be getting a processor upgrade to an as-yet-unspecified Intel model.

The iMac Pro blends the super-thin design of the standard Apple all-in-one with the bleeding-edge productivity focus of the old Mac Pro, packing enough power to handle high-end tasks like 3D modelling for VR. Workstation-Class Performance in an iMac Design Featuring next-generation Intel Xeon processors up to 18 cores, iMac Pro is created to handle the most demanding pro workflows.

Siri was also front-and-centre of Apple's machine-learning, a type of artificial intelligence that helps software adapt to data and recognize patterns automatically.
