"Today iMac gets a huge graphics performance increase, faster CPU performance, Thunderbolt 3 and a brighter Retina display with support for 1 billion colours".

Likewise, Apple has updated its MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air laptops with Kaby Lake processors for faster processing and extended battery life. Apple also introduced its workstation-grade iMac Pro.

Speaking of which, the iMac Pro is just 8 inches thin when you consider the stand, and it weighs only 21.5 lbs.

Along with the new iMac internals, the new models will come with a pair of USB-C ports, as well as Apple's hybrid fusion hard drives, standard. SSD storage options are now up to 50 percent faster, and iMac comes with Thunderbolt 3, the most powerful and versatile port ever.

Brown signed agreements with officials in China , pledging to work together on developing clean energy and cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

AMD has revealed its new Radeon Pro 500-series graphics cards.

The company also says the keyboard of the new MacBook also received an upgrade to be more like the MacBook Pro, which means it should be more responsive.

Available in the new 21.5- and 27-inch iMac, it enables fluid content creation with exceptional performance and support for GPU acceleration across a range of creative applications on the Mac platform, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop. The iMac Pro is scheduled to ship in December starting at $4,999 (US). Apple said is the "most modern desktop for pro customers". It's a truly minor change, however, moving up from 1.6 GHz to 1.8 GHz, but it's still a fifth-generation Intel processor (Broadwell) and not the newer seventh generation (Kaby Lake). It features an all-new thermal design that can cool the desktop more efficiently without compromising thickness. But do not expect from the company to launch the slightest details of the most awaited and upcoming iPhone. With AMD's next-generation compute cores and up to 16GB of HBM2 the iMac Pro with Vega GPU delivers up to 11 Teraflops of single-precision compute power for real-time 3D rendering and immersive, high frame rate VR.

The 15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar still starts at Rs. 2,05,900, while at Rs. 2,39,900, the top-end model is now cheaper by Rs. 2,000. And for half-precision computation, ideal for machine learning, iMac Pro delivers up to a 22 Teraflops of performance. Apple is still pitching the 12-inch MacBook as a sleek and slim notebook with a Retina display, decent specs, and high portability, but it won't blow you out of the water. For the first time ever on a Mac, iMac Pro features 10Gb Ethernet for up to 10 times faster networking.
