Michy Batshuayi has insisted he can not spend another season on the Chelsea substitutes' bench, but is happy to leave his future in the hands of the Premier League champions.

MICHY BATSHUAYI is open to a move away from Chelsea this summer, but who could replace him?

Batshuayi has endured a largely frustrating time since his arriving at Stamford Bridge for the eye-watering fee one year ago, starting just one Premier League game with a further 19 league appearances coming from the bench.

And now the 23-year-old has spoken openly regarding his immediate future, maintaining that he can not spend another season as a bit-part player.

"No, no, no. Everyone knows that I have to play more, that I have to score goals", said the 23-year-old while on worldwide duty with Belgium.

"There is the World Cup next year and I want to be ready to play".

Twitter users, blocked by Trump, cry censorship
Twitter declined to comment as to whether the service will disable the "Block" button from the president's account. That is a sentiment finally acknowledged by White House press secretary Sean Spicer.

The 23-year-old proved his worth when he was eventually given his chance, netting three goals in his final two games.

"I'm not going to ask anything (of Chelsea). Chelsea bought me, they can do what they want with me", Batshuayi told RMC Sport. They are the boss, not me.

"After that, I will talk with my agent and the club, in a friendly way". Amicably, as friends of course.

On Costa, he continued: "Diego is a top player, who has played in top teams and has scored a lot of goals at the highest level". Of course I wanted to play more.

West Ham United and former club Olympique de Marseille are both ready to make a move to secure the services of the Belgium global who scored more than 85 goals in his career. "It's a wonderful experience".

The latter is unlikely as they are confident former striker, and Batshuayi's Belgium team-mate, Romelu Lukaku will rejoin from Everton. With Costa set to stay thanks to Atlético's transfer conundrum but all signs pointing to Chelsea still pushing forward with Lukaku ("that's something you have to ask Chelsea, not me"), Batshuayi could be the odd man left out through no fault of his own.
