Why The High Demand For BlackBerry KEYone In The United States? "Demand has been extremely high and it's encouraging to see this level of excitement and momentum around our BlackBerry smartphone launch". As part of the same Twitter string, Cistulli, also acknowledged that a number of customers had been facing issues with stock when trying to check out. Meanwhile, the smartphone will be available to additional carriers such as Sprint by summer this year. Both major e-tailers now list the phone as sold out (or temporarily out of stock), in both GSM and CDMA unlocked configurations.

The latest BlackBerry branded smartphone was announced at the Mobile World Congress in February 2017.

KEYone is easily BlackBerry's best phone right now, and if you, or someone in your family was looking for a physical keyboard mobile phone, then it is the device. It's also running Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

It looks like the new BlackBerry KeyOne is a lot more popular than TCL had expected, there are no details as yet on how many units of the handset have been sold. KeyOne has, after three months of its launch, finally gone on sale in the U.S. markets!

Apple's HomePod Puts Siri in a Speaker
The headline announcement was Apple's new HomePod , a smart speaker which will be competing with the Amazon Echo and Google Home. Users will also be available to control smart home products such as connected lighting by speaking to Siri through the HomePod .

Phone manufacturer BlackBerry seems to have realized this trend and have created the device that will help them jump on the bandwagon.

In a world of touchscreens, one smartphone maker has dared to bring back the physical keyboard. Both featured mid-range specs and were simply repurposed versions of TCL's Alcatel Idol 4 and Idol 4S.

What is really unique about this phone is its design. The gadget comes preloaded with DTEK, BlackBerry's security monitoring app. In previous handsets, the company did not invest much in the camera quality.

AT&T confirmed in June 2016 that emand for the phone was low, and that it was "struggling". The PRIV was officially discontinued in May 2017.
