Rep. Jack Bergman (R-MI) is under the impression that the media is partly to blame for what compelled 66-year-old James T. Hodgkinson from firing on a field of Republican lawmakers.

"Crooked H destroyed phones w/ hammer, "bleached" emails, & had husband meet w/AG days before she was cleared- & they talk about obstruction?"

Hodgkinson lived in Rep. John Shimkus' district. By Tuesday, he seemed ready to come home, asking a mechanic to make sure his tires would survive the trip back to IL.

Auto mechanic Crist Dauberman told The Associated Press on Friday that James Hodgkinson erupted into an angry, profanity-laden tirade.

In the past, Sanders has called President Donald Trump a "demagogue" and "perhaps the worst and most risky president in the history of our country".

"It was more than the average person who had maybe voted for Hillary". His voice got loud and deep.

Two of the other people shot were at George Washington University Hospital in critical condition, according to a statement from the hospital. Authorities were investigating Hodgkinson's social media posts, a cellphone, computer and camera taken from his van.

After the attack, Breitbart News noted that Hodgkinson bought all this guns legally.

In the immediate aftermath of the Arlington shooting during practice for a Congressional baseball game, little was known about the shooter who took out his political frustrations with bloodshed. "We salute them, and we also salute members of Alexandria Police, Fire and Rescue", Trump said.

Rising winds set to provide fiendish test in US Open final round
The left-hander shot a 67 to reach 12 under and take a one-shot lead over Justin Thomas , Brooks Koepka and Tommy Fleetwood . This is the first [U.S.] Open I've been exempt for. "But I had no idea in terms of 9-under being the best in the U.S.

Back home in Belleville, Illinois, Hodgkinson wrote letters to the editor and called his congressman.

"He entered the room, spoke with Scalise's family, and sat by his bedside with Mrs. Trump", White House spokesman Sean Spicer said.

Doctors say Scalise will be in the hospital for a "considerable period of time".

Four miles north of the Capitol, Scalise, 51, lay in critical condition at Medstar Washington Hospital Center with a rifle wound in his left hip that shattered bones, damaged organs and caused severe bleeding.

In 2006, he was arrested on a battery charge after allegedly punching a woman in the face, then striking her boyfriend in the head with the wooden stock of a 12-gauge shotgun before firing a round at the man, according to a sheriff's department report. Friends describe him as a normal guy who was "a passionate progressive".

Investigators studying Wednesday's attack at a suburban Virginia park said Thursday that Hodgkinson had obtained his rifle and handgun from licensed firearms dealers.

Asked about her husband's decision to leave for an extended period of time, Hodgkinson said that her daughter and two-year-old granddaughter had recently moved home.

"I know he wasn't happy with the way things were going, the election results and stuff", he told The New York Times.

"No, that's not what I said", Bergman responded. He worked on his laptop and sipped coffee, rarely joining in the political discussions often set off by the TV. "435 Members of Congress, and 300 million Americans, are pulling for him, praying for him, and pledging to him our full and total support", he said. "I thought it was some exercise".

Hodgkinson opened fire seven minutes after speaking with Duncan, who wasn't present for the shooting. He always drank alone, and always drank cans of Budweiser - sometimes just one, sometimes as many as six, said Kristina Scrimshaw, a bartender at the restaurant.

"I've obviously noticed a very different tone, but I don't think it's helpful" to blame one side or the other, Cramer said.
