The Los Angeles Clippers are nearing a deal that would land them free agent forward Danilo Gallinari by way of a three-team trade with the Denver Nuggets and the Atlanta Hawks, two people with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports.

Gallinari's contract will be worth $65 million over three years, according to Wojnarowski, and the Hawks would receive a future first-round pick as the third team in the trade. There is no telling how far this team will go come next season, but Nuggets fans should be extremely excited for what is in store now that they have a dynamic duo in Nikola Jokic and Millsap.

To make the deal work, Atlanta is getting involved.

The Clippers have had quite an offseason, having traded All-Star point guard Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets in exchange for a number of players, including Patrick Beverley, Sam Dekker and Lou Williams.

Wojnarowski also added that the Clippers sold Gallinari on a three-man frontcourt along with Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.

Ceballos prefere o Barcelona ao Real Madrid
Ceballos possui uma cláusula de rescisão de 15 milhões de euros (R$ 56,3 milhões), valor que o clube catalão considera razoável pelo jogador.

Jamal Crawford would reportedly like to join the Lakers if he gets bought out of his contract with the Hawks.

Gallinari has spent the past six seasons of his career with the Nuggets, but has appeared in more than 64 games just once in that span.

The Hawks would add a first-round pick and Stone, the No. 40 pick past year, for the trouble of taking Crawford.

The Clippers made Gallinari, who averaged 18.2 points in 63 games last season, their top priority after retaining Griffin.
