On Saturday here in Germany for the G20, Trump urged action on North Korea as he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The U.S. recently blacklisted one Chinese bank accused of illicit dealings with North Korea and is penalizing a Chinese shipping company and two Chinese individuals accused of facilitating illegal activities by the North.

The government has been wary about the idea because a Japanese-U.S. FTA could prompt the Trump administration to step up market-opening pressure on Tokyo, especially in the politically sensitive farm and automobile sectors.

Trump echoed that sentiment earlier this month when he tweeted, "Trade between China and North Korea grew nearly 40% in the first quarter".

In the event, Trump returned to the conciliatory tone struck at their first meeting in April, telling the Chinese leader it was "an honour to have you as a friend" and he appreciated actions Xi had already taken to try to dissuade North Korea from pursuing nuclear weapons.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson insisted in a briefing with reporters Friday that the Trump administration's "expectations are unchanged" on China's willingness to help address the growing problem in North Korea. "It may be longer than I like, more than you like, but there will be a success. one way or the other". "This issue must not become an obstacle to the development of other relations between the two countries", he said.

Xi told Trump that stronger China-U.S. ties are conducive to stability and prosperity and serve the interests of both peoples and the global community in a complex world where various conflicts emerge. "So we will continue those discussions".

Fire at Mukesh Ambani's house Antilia
A fire broke out at Indian business magnate Mukesh Ambani's residence " Antilia " located in south Mumbai on Monday night. Ironically, the fire is believed to have started at a 4G mobile tower installed on the ninth storey at around 9.04 pm.

"The president has made it very clear that he doesn't believe the Paris agreement is fair". He pointed out that trade between China and the North has grown almost 40 percent, leading him to say, "So much for China working with us".

The issue was a frequent topic of discussion at the summit, and the White House said earlier that the U.S., South Korea and Japan were pressing for additional measures against North Korea to demonstrate the "serious consequences" for its latest provocations.

Mr Xi stressed to Mr Trump China's position that it adheres to the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula and maintaining peace and stability there, reported Xinhua.

While China has been angered by North Korea's repeated nuclear and missile tests, it also blames the US and South Korea for worsening tensions with their military exercises. But he said he had built with Trump a "close contact".

The United States and China have reiterated commitment to resolve the North Korean nuclear issue through dialogue.

"It's an important element in this multi layered relationship, but it's still a leaf, however big it is, not the forest", Jia said.

Diplomatic sources in Beijing, speaking ahead of Xi's trip to the G20 gathering in the German city of Hamburg, said Chinese officials had in private expressed nervousness that he could be asked awkward questions about North Korea, or the cancer-struck Liu, jailed for 11 years in 2009 for "inciting subversion of state power".
