A large piece of scrap metal fell from a truck that lost control and overturned on an overpass of a Florida highway, crashing onto a vehicle below and almost crushing its driver, authorities said.

A truck carrying the scrap was traveling westbound from the State Road 528 exit ramp onto Interstate 4 in Orange County Saturday morning when its driver lost control.

When 36-year-old Jesus Armando Escobar was exiting off Interstate 4 onto State Road 528, he had no idea what was about to happen on the overpass above him.

China says upholds United Nations sanctions as North Korea trade rises
Washington plans to impose financial sanctions on the company if it finds sufficient evidence to prove the dealings. President Trump has repeatedly criticized China for not doing enough to control North Korea.

As the truck overturned, part of its load - a large cylinder - fell from the overpass and struck the van below. Wharton was ticketed for careless driving.

The scrap metal smashed in the roof of 36-year-old Jesus Armando Escobar's auto on the driver's side. Amazingly, Escobar was able to walk away from the crash with only minor injuries.
