Nokia 8 launch set for 31st July with €589 price tag

HMD Global is all set to unveil a new high-end smartphone, the new Nokia 8 in the market.

Nokia smartphones enthusiasts will have the chance to purchase Nokia 5 and 6 models as the HMD Global said that company is very humbled by the Indian market's response to the Nokia 3, and that it will bring the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 into the market by mid-August.

The upcoming Nokia 8 is likely to house Snapdragon 835 octa-core, Qualcomm's most powerful processor to date, and will be backed by 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. From the recent leaks, Nokia 8 may use Snapdragon 845 SoC.

According to this listing, the new Nokia 8 will be available with a 4GB RAM variant and there is no any other RAM variant available as of now.

The acquisition was disclosed in a filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission, which is available at the SEC website . Before this latest buy, Ferguson made one other purchase in the past year, buying $414,292 shares at a cost of $55.24 each.

The new Nokia 8 will be available in four different colors, there is no any details about the color options and the name of those devices yet, however according to some other reports the Nokia 8 would be available in blue, steel, gold blue and gold copper color options.

It was expected to be coming with high camera and storage specifications. This will come in the form of the upcoming Nokia flagship device, Nokia 8.

Four colour schemes are now planned for the Nokia 8?

The information comes from a German website WinFuture (who are considered to be reliable when it's about proper release dates), the Nokia 8 goes with the model number as TA-1004. HMD Global and ZEISS have already signed a deal to equip future Nokia smartphones with ZEISS lens and camera technology. It features a 5 inch HD display. HMD Global has recently announced an exclusive partnership with German optics company Zeiss. Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 don't have a Zeiss lenses, which leads us to believe that the company's next smartphone, rumoured to be the Nokia 8, might feature a Zeiss lens.
