Arc System Works Introduces New BlazBlue Game With Special Guest Characters

Arc System Works promises there are more reveals to come.

So far we have Ragna and Jun from BlazBlue, Yu Narukami from Persona 4 Arena, Hyde from Under Night In-Birth, and Ruby Rose from RWBY.

On top of the new game, the developer and publisher also shared news on its latest 2D fighting game BlazBlue CentralFiction, that will get a new character this summer, Jubei.

If you're not familiar with RWBY, it's because it's not a video game (well, it has a video game titled RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, but it's a fairly niche production), it's an anime-style web series created by animator Monty Oum and published by Rooster Teeth.

From the trailer, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle appears to utilize a 2v2 fighting system, unlike the 3v3 Marvel-esque system they're using for Dragon Ball Fighter Z. Japan in 2014 and even receives Simulcast episodes of the show on streaming services such as Crunchyroll. It debuted in 2013 and has gathered a lot of popularity across four seasons.

BlazBlue: Central Fiction is now available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
