Everton are weighing up a surprise big-money offer for Arsenal's Theo Walcott as they look to bolster their attacking options before the 2017-18 Premier League campaign starts, reports The Mirror.

Frenchman Giroud has grown frustrated at Arsenal and wants to leave due to a lack of first-team football.

Walcott scored an impressive 19 goals in all competitions for Arsenal last season, proving that he is still a quality player.

But it seems that Ronald Koeman has yet more reinforcements he's planning to sign before the end of the transfer window.

He managed 19 in 33 appearances in all competitions last season, but combine that with the fact that The Mirror claim that Everton are willing to splash out £30m on the England worldwide, and surely that's more than enough to let him go.

A bid in the region of £30million could be on the cards, and Walcott may be interested in a switch, particularly if he gets the chance to play in his preferred position as an out-and-out striker.

Everton are set to continue their summer spending as they search for a replacement for 24-year-old Romelu Lukaku, who left Goodison Park for Manchester United in a £75m deal.

It's unlikely that the French global moves to Everton, but it's suggested that there could be more success in a swoop for Walcott who will want regular first-team football next season to force his way into the England squad for the World Cup.
