Spurs have widely reported as suitors for Barkley recently and it appears a move could be back on the cards. So far Everton and Daniel Levy have been very far apart on their valuations of Barkley, with Levy believing that Everton's £50million valuation is unrealistic for a player in the past year of his contract.

According to a report in the Sunday Mirror, Spurs are keen to get Barkley on board before they head to the United States on Wednesday but negotiations will have to move swiftly for the deal to get done, while the two clubs will also have to settle their differences over the fee. However, the 23-year-old is still continuing his development and they should trust the judgement of their manager Pochettino.

It is understood that the two Premier League clubs have been far away from agreeing a deal for the English playmaker and that Everton's £50million valuation has been viewed as "unrealistic" by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy. Spurs are willing to pay between 25 and 30 million pounds.

Spurs saw Kyle Walker depart for Manchester City this week with his sizeable fee likely to be added to the transfer coffers this summer with the club yet to make a major signing.

Disney also teased its live action remake of its animated classic Dumbo , which has been given a March 29, 2019 release date. If Jackman and Beyonce both end up in the film, it would be one of the best ensemble casts Disney has ever compiled.

His present deal expires next June and Barkley has been strongly linked with a switch to Tottenham Hotspur.

Swansea are holding out for 50 million pounds to sell Gylfi, who left White Hart Lane just before Mauricio Pochettino arrived.

Barkley has seemingly been frozen out by Toffees boss Ronald Koeman and was not included for their pre-season tour of Tanzania, although officially he was ruled out by injury.

Tottenham may also be keen on selling Moussa Sissoko, who Everton were also keen on last summer, before they sign Ross Barkley.
