Fassone believes the coup of landing Bonucci from the Italian champions in a deal reportedly worth €42 million ($61.55 million) was a huge statement to Europe's top talent and means Milan are now a realistic option for stars like Morata, Aubameyang and Belotti.

Andrea Belotti is said to be one of Chelsea's targets to replace Costa after his stunning performances for Torino last term.

The 23-year-old striker's stock has risen dramatically after a marvelous 2016-17 campaign that saw him make 38 appearances in all competitions for the Italian side.

Since acquiring new ownership, AC Milan have been on a massive spending spree, the likes of which have never before been seen in Italy (and that's saying something considering the exploits of Parma, Lazio, et al. back in the '90s), seemingly not giving a second thought to Financial Fair Play or any other such considerations as they attempt to regain their former status and greatness.

AC Milan chief executive Marco Fassone reveals that three strikers remain on the club's wanted list - Alvaro Morata, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Andrea Belotti.

China's economic growth holds steady despite slowdown fears
Meanwhile, China's aluminum production rose 7.4 percent year-on-year in June to its highest level on records back to 2014. The 6.9 per cent expansion for the second quarter of the year, announced by China today, matched first-quarter growth.

However, according to reports in Italy, Belotti has now agreed personal terms with AC Milan.

Yonghong Li is now trying to do the same thing as the new Milan have invested heavily on the transfer market as they signed a slew of quality signings (Rodriguez, Conti, Kessie, Biglia, Bonucci, Calhanoglu, André Silva etc.).

The Milan giants are splashing the cash this summer as they look to put together a squad to challenge for the Serie A title next season.

The Italy worldwide has a €100m release clause in his contract but is being linked with a switch for less than that figure.

Torino have also added fuel to the fire regarding Belotti's potential exit by leaving him out of the images releasing the clubs new kit.
