Fifty percent of US citizens say the 45th president is doing a worse job than most past presidents, while just under 25 percent say he is doing better than his predecessors. No president has been this unpopular six months into his term in 70 years.

Forty-eight per cent of people think the US's place as a global leader has weakened under Mr Trump, compared to 27 per cent who say it has strengthened, the poll found.

Sixty-three percent of respondents said that the meeting Jared Kushner, Donald Trump Jr. and Paul Manafort held with a Russian lawyer previous year was inappropriate.

US President Donald Trump, fresh from a political holiday in Paris, went back on the offensive as a new poll showed his popularity dropping amid doubts about Russian election meddling and deepening frustrations over stalled health-care legislation.

His disapproval ratings rose five percentage points to 58%, and 48% of those polled "disapprove strongly" of his performance.

Perceptions about the role of Russian Federation in the 2016 election and possible collusion or cooperation with Trump campaign associates continue to be a drag on the President, though like many other questions, results show a clear partisan divide.

Prince William, Duchess Kate and children arrive in Poland
William and Kate, both, 35, and their children were greeted by Polish President Andrzej Duda upon their arrival in Warsaw. It won't have any impact on the negotiations.

Among Republicans, 38 percent of those polled said Trump's conduct has been unpresidential, a view shared by 48 percent of white evangelical protestants reached by the poll and 55 percent of white men without a college degree who responded to it. And the partisan split on the Russian Federation issue has grown even more extreme, with a mere nine percent of Republicans now believing that the Trump campaign helped Vladimir Putin influence the 2016 election.

On the plus side, opinions about Trump's economic proposals were evenly divided, with 43 percent of respondents approving and 41 percent disapproving.

The survey showed that 82 percent of Republicans approved of Trump versus just 11 percent among Democrats.

Besides, roughly 4 in 10 Americans said they see Trump's campaign team intentionally helped Russian efforts to influence the election. Each held a 59 per cent job approval rating in Post-ABC polling.

A president's job approval rating is the essential barometer of his popularity, but it can also be unsatisfying in its lack of specificity.

Recall that the congressmen brad Sherman and al green from the Democratic party launched an initiative on impeachment of the President of the United States Donald Trump. Half of Americans preferred Obamacare to the proposals the Republicans have drawn up to replace it.
