Meizu Pro 7 teased by company VP on Weibo, to arrive soon

Meizu is one of the few manufacturers to license Samsung's Exynos chipsets, but the Pro 7 will be the first device to be powered by MediaTek's Helio X30 SoC.

As per rumours, Meizu Pro 7 will be featuring 5.2 QHD (2560 x 1440) display.

The next flagship coming from Meizu, the Pro 7 is expected to be unveiled very soon. The PRO 7 will be announced at the Zhuhai Opera House on the 26th July at 7:30 PM China time. Jeffery Yang, the senior vice-president of Meizu has change the display image of his Weibo profile to PRO 7.

As far as pricing is concerned, Meizu Pro 7 is rumoured to be priced at 2,799 Yuan which is approximately Rs 26,610 while Meizu Pro 7 Plus is said to be priced at 3,299 Yuan which is approximately Rs 31,353 and 3,799 Yuan which is approximately Rs 36,117 for the higher variant. The successor of the Meizu Pro 6 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio X30 processor and is also expected to feature a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen display. Apparently, the smartphone will cost about $480 outright, while a Plus version of the Pro 7 is supposed to sell for $555.
