Samsung has added PayPal as a payment method in its mobile payments service Samsung Pay. "By adding PayPal to Samsung Pay, we will combine Samsung's ubiquitous payment solution with PayPal's seamless and secure mobile wallet - delivering easy access to a simple, secure payment experience". This partnership will give our customers the ability to pay with mobile nearly anywhere consumers can swipe or tap a credit card, as Samsung Pay works in nearly any in-store POS location in the U.S.

To use the service either for online or offline payments, users must first register their PayPal accounts on Samsung Pay.

Samsung Pay is now fully available in 19 markets, having launched in its native South Korea back in August 2015 before landing in the U.S., China, Spain, and a number of markets across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
