Pageau agrees to three-year contract with Senators

It was reported on Monday that the Ottawa Senators and forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau have come to terms on a new deal ahead of his pending arbitration date with the club.

Pageau will carry an annual cap hit of $3.1 million.

Pageau, who was a restricted free agent, was scheduled to have a salary arbitration hearing in Toronto on July 28.
