The Gunners have already reportedly had two bids rejected for Monaco winger, Thomas Lemar last month.

Arsenal have now submitted three offers for the attacker, which shows a certain determination and probably a feeling they're not chasing a lost cause.

Per the report, Monaco are now negotiating with former Lyon star Rachid Ghezzal, and his arrival could open the door for a Lemar departure.

That is despite the fact Sanchez's contract will expire at the end of the season, meaning he would leave the Gunners on a free transfer unless fresh terms are signed. Other clubs remain interested, but it's Monaco pushing forward with most intent right now, a situation Arsene Wenger will be very conscious of.

Referee Jaco Peyper had little option but to flash the red card and the Lions would play the remainder of the game with 14 men. And when prop Fourie burst over the tryline, there was life in the match with five minutes to play.

The 18-year-old striker's has constantly been linked with a move away and recent reports are suggesting that Barcelona are set to battle Real Madrid for the France international's signature.

Meanwhile, according to French newspaper L'Equipe, Barcelona have now joined the race to sign Lemar, as they look for a replacement for Neymar.

Lemar now has three years remaining on his contract with the Ligue 1 champions.

However, Mbappé, who was injured playing for Monaco yesterday, and Sanchez are not easy deals to pull off, with Monaco putting a €180million price-tag on Mbappé and Arsenal so far unwilling to grant Alexis the move he is said to want to City. It's not only about him, all the young players who were here a year ago and had a great season, Fabinho, Lemar, Kylian, we're talking about them joining other clubs, but they stay focused.
