Lynx guard Whalen out indefinitely with broken left hand

Minnesota Lynx star guard Seimone Augustus will be able to return to the court on Sunday, the Summitt reported on Friday. She will be out indefinitely.

Sylvia Fowles scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, and Minnesota used a 23-2 fourth quarter to cruise past the Atlanta Dream 69-54 on Thursday night.

Whalen, a 14-year veteran, is averaging eight points and a team-high four assists per game this season. The regular season for the Lynx (20-2) ends September 3.
