It looks like Samsung has a new smartwatch in the works. The South Korean company sent emails to some of the members of the SmartLab Plus program asking for their ideas how to properly promote the hybrid smartwatch that it plans to launch soon. The upcoming wearable device called Gear Sport was recently listed at FCC (Federal Communications Commission). It could be a hybrid between Samsung's Gear S3 and Gear Fit 2 that aims to serve the goal of both a smartwatch and fitness band. Besides the fact that it features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, there aren't any other details about its specs.

U.S. military reacts at civilian casualties allegations in Nangarhar airstrike
It came after a United States air strike in Sangin killed at least 18 civilians, mostly women and children, in February. A spokesman for the USA military in Kabul said officials were aware of the reports but would not comment immediately.

Meanwhile, in a separate but related news, a new Samsung wearable dubbed Gear Sport has been cleared by the FCC. If you are the one who gets confused choosing between a smartwatch and fitness tracker, just wait for Samsung's next announcement that could take place at IFA 2017.
