Man dies after crash on Naas Road in Dublin

Severe tailbacks have been reported on the N7 Naas Rd heading outbound, and motorists traveling out of Dublin are being advised to take the M50 to Tallaght or Lucan and not to take Red Cow exit.

The road was closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and has since reopened.

A man in his 20s has died in a road collision at the N7 Naas Road in the early hours of this morning, gardai have said.

Emergency services are now dealing with the incident that happened on the Naas Road at around 6.30am.

He died after the 4x4 he was driving hit a barrier, near Junction 2 Kingswood, at about 6.20am this morning.
