Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Rich Hill was taken to the hospital as a precaution after being hit in the throat by a pitch in Friday's 4-3 loss to the San Diego Padres.

The Dodgers erased the deficit in the bottom sixth as Corey Seager plated three runs with a bases-loaded single.

One inning later, Cody Bellinger added a much-needed insurance run with his 34 long ball of the season.

Not only that, but he stayed in the game to pitch, going 6 innings and giving up just 2 runs.

The Dodgers struck first with a run in the bottom of the first inning, but the Padres tied the game in the top of the third thanks to an RBI double by Hunter Renfroe.
