The rain will stay clear of the area through the evening, leaving temperatures in the low to mid 70s and a few clouds.

A weak front drops south of the Valley on Sunday pushing most of the scattered storms southward into Central and South Alabama.

Early morning fog should burn off rather quickly Sunday, with temperatures quickly rising through the afternoon. Rain chances for the second half of the week and into next weekend will be a little lower but temperatures will be a little higher around 90 degrees each day with overnight lows only dropping into the 73 to 75 degree range.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon in the Wichita area, forecasters say, though much better chances of rain will be west of I-135. Low temps will be in the mid 70s Sunday night. High temperatures each afternoon will generally be in the upper 80s to lower 90s, just depending on where and when it rains each day.

Another round of showers and storms are likely by Monday, but widespread severe weather is not expected.

Late this afternoon and into this evening, storms will likely develop across western and northwestern North Texas. More chances of rain and storms (mainly during the overnight hours) Wednesday and Thursday.

Highs will be cooler in the mid 80s with a breezy north wind.
