The 55-year-old actor is well known for doing quite a few of his own stunts, including some notable moments in his past involving pretty scary situations. The Mission: Impossible franchise has become a consistent showcase for at least one wild stunt that Tom Cruise has chose to do himself. The actor is back to performing his own stunts again for Mission: Impossible 6, with him reportedly doing two showstoppers himself.

It appears that Tom Cruise was injured during stunt work while filming for Mission: Impossible 6 this week. He came in just a few inches short of clearing it, which is when the lower half of his body collided with the side of the building.

You see Cruise try to limp away and then collapse. He is then escorted away by crew members, still limping.

North Korea has started holding evacuation drills as tension with United States continue
It follows the announcement that North Korea had miniaturised a nuclear warhead capable of reaching the mainland US. He tweeted: "Military solutions are now fully in place, locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely".

Cruise has yet to release a statement regarding the extent of his injuries but it doesn't seem to be serious. "I told them, 'Don't stop filming.' I was hit by a tiny particle from the runway and I literally thought it broke my ribs".

Tom is now on set in London and he was wearing a safety harness during the time of the accident. In the original Mission: Impossible, when the actor ran from the exploding aquarium restaurant, he hurt his ankle.
