Three militants were killed while a top Hizbul Mujahideen commander managed to give slip to security forces in an overnight encounter in south Kashmir's volatile Shopian district.

At least two to three terrorists are suspected to have been trapped in the area. "If they (Pak Army) fire one bullet, we (Indian Army) retaliate with 10 bullets", Singh said here. A fierce firefight broke out in which three militants and two soldiers were killed, army spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia told AFP.
