Delhi: Ex-Manipur minister's son falls from terrace in Hauz Khas, dies

The teenager identified as, Siddharth Okendru, the son of Manipur's former Home and Education Minister M Okendru, was declared dead on Sunday evening at around 4:30 pm at Safdarjung hospital, where he was admitted after he fell from the terrace.

A 19-year-old youth, son of a former minister in Manipur died after falling off the terrace from a restaurant in Haz Khas Village in south Delhi on Saturday night under mysterious circumstances. Apart from questioning the restaurant staff, police was examining the closed-circuit television footage from the restaurant.

Siddharth had consumed alcohol and went to the terrace and tried to climb the wall to go towards the adjacent restaurant, said the officer. The spot from where the victim fell is located on the second floor of the building.
