The Queen is allegedly preparing to abdicate the throne making Prince Charles the King, according to United Kingdom media citing royal courses.

According to a shock new report, Queen Elizabeth has hatched a plan that would make Prince Charles the Prince Regent.

Palace sources told the Mail on Sunday that the monarch will ask for a piece of legislation called the Regency Act to come into force - granting her eldest son full power to reign even while she still lives, making him king in all but name.

One senior former member of the Royal Household said: "Her Majesty is mindful of her age and wants to make sure when the time comes, the transition of the Crown is seamless".

"I have spoken to a number of high-ranking courtiers who made it clear that preparations for a transition are moving ahead at pace", royal commentator for the Daily Mail, Robert Jobson, said.

First responders retrieved him from under the bus, and were seen performing CPR on him before he was taken to hospital. Afterwards, they were let off one by one to give statements. "I heard the sound, the crash". "It was pretty sad".

"Out of the profound respect the Queen holds for the institution of monarchy and its stewardship, Her Majesty would want to make sure that she has done everything she can for her country and her people before she hands over". She is dutiful to her core.

Speaking on Sunrise this morning "Jobbo" went on to explain that the Regent Act means she will be able to step aside, still remain Queen, and Prince Charles would take executive power as prince regent.

Queen Elizabeth may be following Prince Philip's example, and retiring from the top job.

There has been no official comment from Clarence House, the official residence of the Prince of Wales.
