Los Angeles Chargers to take on Seattle Seahawks in 1st preseason game

In their first preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks Sunday, fans will not only get their first glimpse at a revamped 2017 roster but also they will get their first game-day experience at the StubHub Center.

In addition to seeing how the team looks, fans will also get their first look at an National Football League game from StubHub Center in Carson. It's the first game for the former San Diego franchise since they announced their move to Los Angeles in January.

Pitching coach Mike Maddux said that Strasburg is likely to throw about five innings and 75 pitches in his first rehab outing. Washington has around two months until the postseason begins, so that gives Harper plenty of time to get back to 100 percent.

While the location of the game is new, the Seahawks' foe is not. The former AFC West rivals have played each other 14 times during the preseason.

Chargers defensive coordinator Gus Bradley said cornerback Jason Verrett, still rehabbing from ACL knee surgery a year ago, will not play on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. Offensive lineman Russell Okung, who played for Seattlefrom 2010-2015 joined the Cahargers during the offseason. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 pm. PST.
