Ubisoft made a decision to delay all forthcoming expansions for Rainbow Six: Siege in order to improve the matchmaking and a bunch of technical issues as part of Operation Health, meaning that the "Hong Kong update" would be pushed back to August, which is happening.at least mostly. With the work on bug fixes coming to a close, the team is shifting their efforts back to new content with Operation Blood Orchid. Coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC platforms, the newest update is the second round of content that follows the first update that came earlier called Operation Health. It adds a new map and three Operators-one more than these expansions typically include. The map will be free for all players regardless of whether they own the Season Pass. Two of the new Operators are expected to be from the location of the new map, Hong Kong, and the third will be from Poland. Everyone else will be able to purchase the Operators on September 5.

New customization items are also set to be released with the update, though the specifics on those have yet to be announced.

US stocks close higher, post weekly decline
Technology companies led US stocks slightly higher in afternoon trading Friday, recouping some of the losses from the day before. The Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.2 percent to 3,273.71 and Hong Kong's Hang Seng was off 0.2 percent at 27,803.55.

We don't know many details about the upcoming expansion, as the new season won't be fully revealed until the Rainbow Six Pro League finals at Gamescom later this month.

The Pro League finals will take place on August 25-26, and Operation Blood Orchid will be released on August 29.
