ESPN claims to have obtained a copy of Woods' toxicology reports, in which a urine test showed he had taken a mixture of strong painkillers, sleep and anxiety medication and THC - a chemical component of marijuana.

Woods, who had been heading away from his home on the exclusive Jupiter Island, could not remember where he was going and told police he was returning from Los Angeles. It's not clear how he damaged the auto.

He won 14 majors, but the last one was in 2008 when he won the US Open at Torrey Pines by outlasting Rocco Mediate in a memorable 19-hole playoff.

As part of a plea agreement, Woods on Wednesday agreed to enter a diversion program for first-time DUI offenders that will allow him to have his record wiped clean if he completes the program.

If Woods completes the program, he can ask a judge to expunge the reckless driving conviction.

In the diversion program, Woods will spend a year on probation, pay a $250 fine and court costs, attend DUI school and perform 50 hours of community service. He would also have to attend a workshop where victims of impaired drivers detail how their lives were damaged and face other conditions.

'I remain grateful for the incredible support that I continue to receive and for the family and friends that are assisting me'.

"Woods has 79 career PGA Tour victories but isn't now playing after his latest back surgery €" his fourth overall. His last win was in August 2013.
