Man who posed as Uber driver accused of sex assault

A 25-year-old woman says she was sexually assaulted by a 33-year-old man who was posing as an Uber driver outside of a downtown nightclub over the weekend.

Toronto Police say a 25-year-old woman was leaving a nightclub on Sunday in the Cherry Street and Polson Street area when a man approached her claiming to be an Uber driver, and asked if she needed a ride.

Police said the man posed as a driver for ride-sharing service Uber and asked if she would like a ride.

It's alleged he sexually assaulted the woman on the drive home.

The comments represent a more belligerent tone after a war of words between the U.S. and North Korea appeared to have subsided. The measures block any assets the entities may have in US jurisdictions and bar Americans from transactions with them.

Fahad was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Tuesday.

Photos of the vehicle have been released by police and it has been described as a red four-door 2017 Toyota Camry.

He also faces a charge of theft under $5,000.
