Ever since it was confirmed during E3 2017 that Rocket League would be coming to the Nintendo Switch, fans of the sports game have been excited to see what kind of exclusive items will be available on the platform, and the Metroid and Mario cars are likely just the beginning.

Developer Psyonix has unveiled a Mario NSR vehicle for the Orange Team and Luigi NSR auto for the Blue Team. Make sure to check out the official trailer released today showing off the new cars below.

On top of the new cars, players on the Switch version will have Mario and Luigi toppers that will be able to used on any of the cars in the game that allow customization. Rocket League will support all of the Switch's play modes, included docked TV mode, tabletop mode, handheld mode, and will feature both online and local multiplayer. These two cars have a specialised boost called "Super Star" which is appropriate.

Rocket League hits Nintendo Switch this holiday season. The console's exclusive Battle Cars are the Mario NSR, Luigi NSR, and Samus Gunship.

It probably won't come as much a shock to hear that Mario and Luigi will be the focus of one vehicle, but discovering that Samus will be honored with a auto of her own is probably a pleasing twist for Metroid fans.
