Raikkonen adamant he can still win races, titles

The Italian team said this week that the German's friend and teammate Kimi Raikkonen is staying at Ferrari next year.

"I think it is highly unlikely that he will be here (at Mercedes), and I don't think he wants to be my team-mate", triple champion Hamilton told reporters at the Belgian Grand Prix on Thursday.

That could also be said of Ferrari's second driver Kimi Raikkonen, a four-time Spa victor, who has been confirmed on the team's roster next year.

"As long as I feel myself that I can win races and fight for championships then that's fine".

The Scuderia Ferrari driver secured a fourth victory of 2017 last time out at the Hungaroring ahead of team-mate Kimi Raikkonen, with the result giving him a fourteen-point lead over Lewis Hamilton in the Drivers' standings.

"It appears to be a massive first advantage to Mercedes, but it might not be as quite as clear as that", said Martin Brundle, who has returned to the Sky F1 team this weekend.

More fish than first thought escaped from San Juans farm
She said the company called in experts last month to stabilize the salmon farm during high tides, although no fish escaped then. The pen "imploded" around 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, possibly due to extra-high tides from the solar eclipse.

"The last race is one of the best examples of it, how great the team is now (Bottas first allowing Hamilton past, and the place being returned despite the loss of points)".

"I just love the track and it'll be nice seeing so many orange fans in the stands", said Red Bull's Belgium-born Dutch driver. The re-signing of Raikkonen for one more year is seen as a key indicator in that arrangement, since the Finn was the preferred choice of Vettel.

"It works [with Valtteri] so I don't think any of the bosses or any individual in the team is unhappy with what is now in place so I find it hard to believe they would change that".

Another rumour is that Raikkonen's new contract was a "condition" of Vettel also deciding to stay. "He wouldn't have the position he is in now in terms of how his team operates if he was here". So I don't believe any of the bosses are unhappy with what is now in place. Well, soon can be a very.it depends who you ask.

Team principal Christian Horner has set drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen the challenge of outscoring Ferrari over the remaining nine races. With qualifying simulations to come in the afternoon, it is unwise to read too much into the opening practice session of any F1 weekend, but the fact Mercedes already looks quick without having used the quickest tyre suggests pre-race predictions of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit suiting the world champions were correct.

"So we will be making no assumptions". You have to go and ask them.
