While Apple called the iPhone X "the future of the smartphone" many of its features are readily available on Android devices, most notably the Galaxy Note 8.

OnePlus uses its own OxygenOS interface on top of Android Nougat, and it doesn't meddle with the design as much as, say, Samsung does.

The iPhone X has a 5.8-inch OLED screen that's a little taller and thinner than most phones, making it physically smaller than the iPhone 7 Plus.

In 2016 and 2017, smartphone makers have turned to screens that stretch from edge to edge. The company has stated that it aims to launch a foldable smartphone under its Galaxy Note brand by next year. Here's why we think the Galaxy Note 8 beats the iPhone X. While MP-wise it looks similar, Apple's iPhone X has a slight upper hand with nifty features like TrueDepth on the front camera.

A previsão de lançamento para todos os utilizadores do browser é janeiro do ano que vem. O autoplay, ou a reprodução automática de vídeos, pode ser algo bastante inoportuno.

Samsung said the 64 gigabyte edition accounted for 65 percent of sales, with the 256GB edition accounting for 35 percent.

It's a big plus if your used phone has been updated with a new battery; those start to give out after about 18 months, said Matt Zieminski, an account manager with iFixit, which sells tools for repairing gadgets. The iPhone X runs on the iOS 11 operating system. According the official Samsung Egypt page, the price of the device will be about EGP 18,000, while the early booking requires a down payment of EGP 3,000.

"We're working on inventing the next set of world firsts and collaborating with partners across the industry to get them into your hands, on a band around your wrist, or with lenses for over your eyes", the post concludes. Samsung does have a plan to launch foldable phones starting 2018. Since 2015, the rumor has been that they're close to a finished product, but there's still some tweaking to be done. Combine them all, and you get the Galaxy Note 8.

The company did not release an official number of preorders. The Galaxy Note 8 got 395,000 pre orders just on its first day. The Note 8 will compete with Apple's 10th-anniversary iPhone models, which will be revealed on Aug. 12.
